Short Bio

T.Garrett Eaton

I'm a Californian artist living in Vancouver, BC where I divide my time between fine art and commercial animation work. Check out for my commercial work.

In my paintings I depict objects and spaces typically overlooked in our day-to-day lives. The slow and considered process of obsevational painting invites the viewer to do the same: to stop and observe with prolonged intensity. I believe mundane subjectmatter can be a locus for drama and introspection, and observational painting is uniquely suited to teasing out this potential.
