Short Bio

I am an artist living in Oakland, CA where I divide my time between fine art and commercial projects. Check out tgeaton.com for my commercial work.

My paintings seek to investigate the ordinary world as we encounter it on a daily basis. The slow and considered process of observational painting invites the viewer to do the same: stop and look with prolonged intensity.

My work finds its form sense in traditional painting, but I am not a traditionalist.
