Lately the only drawings I have been doing are tiny, rough sketches in a notebook that I carry around. Not only do I manage to fill idle time this way, but sometimes these boards live on in more substantial form. It is truly rewarding to see the fruition of these crappy little doodles, and they really pay off when it comes to getting shots on location: you’ve already got a rough guide for the shots you absolutely need. These are a few boards from the short film piece I’m currently working on.
